Pestalozzi International
Pestalozzi International develops educational programmes in the Global South, selecting children from the most marginalised communities for their Future Leaders Programme. Participants receive quality education alongside training in emotional resilience, empathy and ethical leadership, developing the next generation of changemakers among those who understand their communities’ challenges first-hand.
The impact is reflected in a global alumni network of over 2,700 graduates. More than 70% continue giving back to their communities, many in public service roles, with around 97% remaining in their home countries. Over 50 NGOs have been founded or are led by alumni while others work towards supporting pregnant teenagers to stay in school, advancing climate justice, improving food security, or contributing to global challenges, from cancer research to roles within organisations such as the World Bank, or drive economic growth through businesses.
Pestalozzi International reimagines education to develop compassionate leaders equipped to meet their nations’ and the world’s challenges with integrity, purpose and practical capability.
