HAP is a youth-led social enterprise who is providing an ecosystem for youth to become caretakers of their communities, and help build community-based climate change resilience based on humanitarian principles. Our target is to use data-driven strategies that empower the community to mitigate the local impact of climate change and working with communities to rehabilitate disaster hit areas, help reduce the economic devastation on local communities and under-resourced regions.

About

Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP)

Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) is an initiative providing comprehensive services and strategic support to governments, humanitarian actors, and agencies responding to humanitarian crises and climate disasters. The organization focuses on building community-based resilience by connecting networks of stakeholders, mobilizing grassroots response through data-driven strategies, and promoting sustainable initiatives. HAP works primarily with refugee and host communities, particularly in complex environments like the Rohingya refugee crisis in Cox's Bazar. The organization's approach centers on holistic oversight, community-based networks, and respectful engagement with displaced populations. HAP has provided medical interventions, education support, shelter materials, and winter kits to over 110,000 Rohingya refugee beneficiaries, while coordinating international volunteers and raising millions in humanitarian funding.
